We're between Temescal and Rockridge, with MacArthur BART close by. Inside, it's quiet and homey. There's Buddhist decor, prayer flags and spiritual music playing.
One plate, two sizes
There's one plate a day, so there's nothing to decide. Choose moderate or full. A hot soup comes first, and the tea is self-serve and bottomless. Get the full plate if you want leftovers.
Pie, gluten-free
Try the key lime. The crust is pressed, and the filling tastes the way key lime should. The coconut pie is rich and creamy, not too sweet.
Bring the whole table
We take reservations for large groups. Food comes out fast, drinks are self-serve, and everyone pays individually at the counter in back. Thank you for coming in.
